He take her under his wing and then proclaims that she will be his wife once she is full grown. The lead Berserker, Aidan, recognizes she is an Immortal, but a rather young one who is still frail and can be injured.

That was pretty amusing and I was enjoying the give and take (both verbal and with blades). The book started with a young Valkyrie, Regin the Radiant, beating up some viking Berserkers. Note: This book works fine as a stand alone even though it is Book 11 in the series. Who I Recommend This To: If you enjoy the possessive streak in your lover, you might be OK with this.
